Friends of Frederick County endorses alternatives to burning waste. Present and future trends in packaging reduction and reuse, recycling, policy and human behavior demonstrate that we should look at our waste as a resource and plan accordingly.

The Solid Waste Analysis Group’s ReLifeCycle Alternative Plan provides a way for us to do that. FoFC has requested that the Board of County Commissioners do a cost analysis of this Plan so that citizens and legislators can evaluate the best system for Frederick County.
